Caring for Sakena — three steps
- Rinse in cold water after wearing — a quick rinse under the tap is enough.
- Machine wash cold, inside the wash bag included with your order — use a mild detergent. No fabric softener and no bleach; both reduce the efficiency of the absorbent layer.
- Hang to dry — no tumble dryer, high heat damages the barrier.
Before first use
Wash twice — absorbency activates after washing. This prevents most "it leaked on day one" problems.
Why it matters
Following these steps keeps the absorbent layer and the waterproof barrier working as they should. Damage caused by hot washes, bleach, fabric softener or a tumble dryer is not a manufacturing fault.
